You can become a member online by simply downloading our mobile app. With advanced biometric facial verification, and the ability to submit proof of ID, we're offering you a safe and reliable way to become a member.
The criteria to become a member is that you either live or work in the Coalisland, Stewartstown, Newmills and surrounding areas (our common bond area). In addition, family members residing in the same household as a directly qualifying member are regarded as also having the qualification for membership.
What do I need to join?
You need to present 2 forms of identification (one form of ID from each of the sections below is required) to join and a minimum of £1 is needed to open an account and keep it activated. If you wish to avail of the DBI a minimum of £20 is required in your account.
1.Evidence of Identification
(must show proof of date of birth & recent photo):
- Current valid Passport,
- Current valid Driving Licence
- Current valid National Identity Card
- Current valid Electoral Identity Card
- Current valid Smart Pass
2. Evidence of Address
- Financial Statement: Bank/Building Society/ Credit Card statement (issued within last 6 months)
- Utility Bill: electricity, gas, water, telephone (not mobile), broadband bill (issued within last 6 months)
- HMRC Correspondence (issued within last 6 months)
- Social Security Correspondence (issued within last 6 months)
- Driving Licence (issued within last 6 months)
- LPS Rates Bill (issued within last 12 months)
- Northern Ireland Election Registration (issued within last 12 months)
Please Note: The same document cannot be used to confirm both identity and address.
If joining due to employment in the area: Proof of employment: payslip or documentation from employer.
Junior Savers Account
(birth to 16 years)
Long Birth Certificate is required, Proof of address - parents proof of address, see list of acceptable documents above. Junior accounts can only be opened by parents/guardian.
