School Wellbeing Fund
As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to supporting our local community. When our members save and borrow with us, we reinvest our profits to benefit others. One example of this is the School Wellbeing Fund. This fund helps local schools enhance students’ physical and mental well-being, ensuring every child has the opportunity to flourish!
We recently visited Stewartstown Primary School, St. Patrick's Annaghmore and Gaelscoil Uí Néill who have been recent recipients from the school fund. The children in Gaelscoil Uí Néill and St Patrick's Annaghmore were busy enjoying their new play equipment, purchased with their donation from our School Wellbeing Fund. The schools had been without play equipment during break times for quite some time, so this addition was warmly welcomed. It was wonderful to hear the children having so much fun. We hope they enjoy countless moments of fun, friendship, and active play for years to come.
Stewartstown Primary School used their donation from the fund to offer health and wellbeing classes delivered by Relax Kids to pupils in P6 & P7. The pupils are learning skills and strategies to cope with stress, anxiety and worries. We’re so pleased to have made this possible, ensuring pupils gain invaluable skills they can use throughout their lives - an investment in their future!
